Mattingly and Howell Orthodontics is pleased to announce that Eric Phillips has now completed his treatment as our first Smiles Change Lives (SCL) patient. Smiles Change Lives is an orthodontic nonprofit organization dedicated to help kids receive braces. Orthodontists across the country partner with SCL to provide braces for qualified children and teens.
Mission: Smiles Change Lives promotes and provides access to life-changing, essential orthodontic treatment for children from low-income families. Based in Kansas City, the program has treated more than 1,200 children since 1997. With its origin as the Virginia Brown Community Orthodontic Partnership, Smiles Change Lives has emerged as the nation’s leader in providing access to orthodontic care for underserved youth.

Nation Dental Health Month
February is National Dental Health Month and some of our staff went to elementary schools to teach children how to care for their teeth.
Blanket Louisville
Mattingly & Howell Orthodontics sponsored a continuing education course and asked participants to bring a new or gently used blanket as a donation to "Blanket Louisville". Blanket Louisville is a project that distributes blankets to various homeless shelters in Louisville.
