Your first visit will be a consultation appointment with one of the doctors and a treatment coordinator to evaluate your orthodontic situation. A thorough examination will be completed initially, which will allow us to decide if orthodontic treatment would be of benefit. We will review the particular concerns which are present, discuss the most likely treatment options and estimate treatment duration and cost at this appointment. Frequently, in our opinion, orthodontic treatment would best be deferred until additional dental development or skeletal maturation has occured. In this case the individual would be placed on a recall schedule for treatment at a later date when timing and or growth is more favorable.

Should treatment be indicated at this time, diagnostic radiographs, pictures and study models will be taken to allow us to develope a precise treatment plan and estimate treatment length. A treatment consultation appointment will be scheduled to allow us to review our treatment recommendations with you. At the treamtent consultation, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions and discuss the suggested treatment in detail.
