"My three oldest kids have had care at Mattingly and Howell! They are top notch in care, hospitality, and facilities!My oldest started and completed her care here with Invisalign. We are extremely pleased with how things went.My next kiddo began care else where (another state) before we moved here, and was told she would be in brace for four years straight, when we saw Dr. Mattingly he was really wanting to give her a break, because four years is a long time to be in braces, and that is exactly what happened. A year and a half after care started here (almost 2 years in braces) she was able to get her braces off, and give about a year break before she will continue with Invisalign (still to come).My third kiddo had a cross bite and needed some early intervention. We decided to do an expander followed by Invisalign for his first phase. We had some decisions to make at the end of his first phase and Dr. Howell provided us with his educated advice and let us make the decisions!My fourth kiddo is not old enough for orthodontic care yet, but when he does we will come here without hesitation! Such great care, kind people, and wonderful space!"

The staff made sure that my entire experience was hassle free and painless, from getting my initial scan to helping me track my invoices for my FSA. (Shout out to Raven!) Plus, orthodontia technology has advanced so much since I got braces back in grade school that was surprised with how easy and quick it was for them to scan my teeth. I couldn't rate him, his partners, their employees less than a 5/5 or a 10/10. They know what they're doing, they communicate well, everyone in the whole organization that I have ever spoken to (the Dr's, their staff and assistants, billing, scheduling, etc)are personable, answer all of my questions one by one, and offer every bit of assistance and flexibility possible. My youngest will probably need orthadontia as well in his future, it is what it is... but I know exactly where to get the best advice, and corrective action if necessary."

I had a difficult case from the beginning and wanted to avoid surgery, I’m also probably a C+ patient with following routines, anyways, Dr. Howell from the beginning listened to me, and was willing to find a way to help me as much as he could without surgery. He was honest with me about the process and that it may still require surgery, but through it all he’s been incredibly kind, patient, and attentive to what was workable for me. I cannot recommend him and his office enough!"

"My rating is 100 stars! I can't stop smiling! I'm 72yo & had never had braces. In my late 60's my top front teeth gradually began shifting over top of one another and were crooked. I began smiling with my mouth closed because I was embarrassed about my teeth. I believed I was too old for orthodontics and additionally, thought it was vain to spend the money for treatment at my age. Fortunately, I responded to an ad about discounts from Mattingly & Howell. I was warmly invited to come into the office for a consult. I'll omit the details of the consult for brevity, but Dr Howell developed a treatment plan for my teeth for Invisaligns. His plan was for 20 weeks and was affordable to my budget. I'm so happy with the results that I truly can't stop smiling! My family and friends are amazed by my results! "There are no words to express how grateful I am for Dr. Mattingly. Honestly I had given up hope before I came to this office. After years and years of dental work, 2 previous rounds of braces as a child, Physical therapy for TMJ, mouth guards for sleeping, I was still in pain. Daily headaches and sleepless nights…even a broken tooth. I’ve seen multiple dentist that said surgery was my only route. I was referred to Dr. Mattingly by my new dentist after my other one retired and it might have been the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. I was told I’d need a miracle and that’s exactly what I was given. Treatment started June 2022, back then I had an open bite, I couldn’t bite through pizza or sandwiches, a piece of lettuce on a sandwich was enemy #1. I had two teeth that touched, the rest were a mess. Flash forward to today, I can eat ANYTHING (is this why I’ve gained weight?) no problem and a smile that I’ve only dreamed about. I should be the poster child for Invisalign. But, all jokes aside, this is the absolute best group of orthodontist and the office staff are so kind. I should add that being able to do scans at home were amazing, so nice not to have to take as much time off work as I was expecting. "I really cannot say enough about Dr. Mattingly and his incredible staff at Mattingly & Howell Orthodontics. There's a location downtown for the few invisalign checkups that are needed (few compared to normal braces) and it's convenient for anyone who works in Indiana or downtown Louisville. The process is so smooth and takes no time at all to correct teeth (and bite) back to the proper place. I hesitated for a few years before pulling the trigger on invisalign, but I'm so happy I corrected my smile. I previously suffered from TMJ and I really think the bite correction and realignment of my teeth has done wonders to help the pain from teeth clenching and grinding. I'm about 6 months out from my last "invisalign tray" currently and really love the outcome. I look back at pictures before invisalign and it's incredible how fast the process works with simple trays. If you are considering invisalign, Dr. Chris, his entire staff (especially Gayle!) are so kind. Best money spent and post invisalign, I smile all time because I'm so happy with my teeth."

"Dr. Mattingly and his team will forever hold a special place in my heart. They completed my first round of braces as a teenager for cosmetic/functional purposes. I returned years later after being diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea. I had decided to undergo double jaw surgery with hopes of opening my airway and knew who I wanted to complete the orthodontic portion of this process. I was nervous about the journey ahead but confident about placing my trust in the hands of the Mattingly/Howell team. Dr Mattingly took the time to visit me in the hospital the evening my surgery was completed. I’ll never forget the excitement I felt to see a familiar face. "There was never a day that I went in and wasn’t greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Everyone called me by my name as if they knew me my entire life and just made me feel like I was a part of their family. They are all professional and all so nice. The appointment times are flexible and they were always able to get me in very quick for my next appointments. Not only are they flexible but the appointments are quick. They will spend as much time as I needed to answer all my questions but when it came down to them working on my teeth, they were very fast and efficient. They work like a well oiled machine and because of this, there is almost never a wait to be seen on time which is very hard to find these days.
