"My three oldest kids have had care at Mattingly and Howell! They are top notch in care, hospitality, and facilities!My oldest started and completed her care here with Invisalign. We are extremely pleased with how things went.My next kiddo began care else where (another state) before we moved here, and was told she would be in brace for four years straight, when we saw Dr. Mattingly he was really wanting to give her a break, because four years is a long time to be in braces, and that is exactly what happened. A year and a half after care started here (almost 2 years in braces) she was able to get her braces off, and give about a year break before she will continue with Invisalign (still to come).My third kiddo had a cross bite and needed some early intervention. We decided to do an expander followed by Invisalign for his first phase. We had some decisions to make at the end of his first phase and Dr. Howell provided us with his educated advice and let us make the decisions!My fourth kiddo is not old enough for orthodontic care yet, but when he does we will come here without hesitation! Such great care, kind people, and wonderful space!"

"Dr. Chris Mattingly and his team are great. I recently had TMJ and Dr. Chris and his team understand adult tooth issues. I am a senior and want to retain my teeth for as long as I can. This was the right choice for my children and now for me. My teeth, gums, and mouth are the gateway for disease. Taking care of my mouth is a huge priority. Dr. Mattingly's treatment has been hugely beneficial. As a side benefit, the process helped me jump-start my diet to lose nearly 100 pounds over the time frame using Invisalign. No more TMJ, no migraines, no popping noise, and now my bite is corrected. Best decision I made since 2022 when I went through a significant stressful event. Laura was very professional when taking off the aligner attachments. She also did an excellent job explaining the process while whitening my teeth. "Finally decided to straighten my smile and was referred to Mattingly and Howell Orthodontics. Dr Chris and the staff were so warm and nice. The process was explained well and no pressure applied either way. I used Invisalign. The process of wearing retainers has its challenges but the process of assessing progress and communication with the office was easy and smooth. I just finished my Invisalign after about 6 months and I’m extremely pleased. The entire staff was fantastic, the office very comfortable and I would recommend them to anyone at any age who wants a beautiful smile!"

"I highly recommend Dr Mattingly for Invisalign treatment. I started my treatment at another orthodontist out of state. Before moving to Louisville, my prior orthodontist said I finished my treatment but I was unhappy with the results. Dr. Mattingly assessed my teeth and came up with a new great plan to fix my teeth. Now after finishing my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Mattingly, my smile is perfect and better than I ever thought possible.The Smile Doctors phone app used to scan my teeth every week was very easy to use and quick. During my in person visits, Dr. Mattingly was always very pleasant and personable. I only had 1 visit during my treatment with Dr. Howell, but he was very pleasant as well. The whole team at this location was great.I can’t recommend this place enough and will absolutely be going back here for any future orthodontic needs I have!"

I had pretty miserable orthodontics experiences in middle and high school and came back as an adult to fix some insecurities I have with my smile. They’ve helped me understand my options, explained every step of the process, always make appointments quick and easy but not rushed. They followed up to check on me the day after I got my Invisalign put in just to be sure I was adjusting well. I’ve appreciated them so much and would highly recommend them!"
"There are no words to express how grateful I am for Dr. Mattingly. Honestly I had given up hope before I came to this office. After years and years of dental work, 2 previous rounds of braces as a child, Physical therapy for TMJ, mouth guards for sleeping, I was still in pain. Daily headaches and sleepless nights…even a broken tooth. I’ve seen multiple dentist that said surgery was my only route. I was referred to Dr. Mattingly by my new dentist after my other one retired and it might have been the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. I was told I’d need a miracle and that’s exactly what I was given. Treatment started June 2022, back then I had an open bite, I couldn’t bite through pizza or sandwiches, a piece of lettuce on a sandwich was enemy #1. I had two teeth that touched, the rest were a mess. Flash forward to today, I can eat ANYTHING (is this why I’ve gained weight?) no problem and a smile that I’ve only dreamed about. I should be the poster child for Invisalign. But, all jokes aside, this is the absolute best group of orthodontist and the office staff are so kind. I should add that being able to do scans at home were amazing, so nice not to have to take as much time off work as I was expecting. If you’re an adult and you were questioning getting braces again, please let this be your sign to go for it."

I, on the other hand, chose to get invisalign and was told that I would use them for over a year. I just got them taken off and I could not be happier. "Before deciding to go with Dr. Mattingly for my Invisalign, I got second opinions from 2 other orthodontists around town. Although some offered cheaper options, none were as thorough as Dr. Mattingly which made the decision an easy one. He offers hours that allowed me to schedule some appointments before or after work. He's very knowledgeable, the staff is experienced and the whole office is run smoothly and efficiently. Dr. Mattingly will make sure you are completely satisfied with your smile. "They have a very friendly staff and are always available to answer questions and help anyway they can. I recommend them to anyone searching for Orthodontic treatment. Their friendly atmosphere makes you feel right at home. They look out for your best interest. Dr. Mattingly had the same concerns I did about getting braces with my line of work; I am the face of my dealership so it is important I look my best. He found ways to make my dental work, work best for me. He did some research and was able to get me Invisalign, which we both thought, and I have been told my whole life I could not get. I am a few months into my treatment and I could not be happier.. Finally getting the smile I have always wanted and I have Doctors that go out of their way to accommodate my needs."
